    Quick question for builders.

I've started noticing low-quality listings on Adsly coming from accounts created via inboxpad com.
Same pattern every time - duplicated descriptions, low effort, no real value.

I'm thinking about blocking that provider entirely to protect the quality of the platform.

I really don't want Adsly to turn into just another backlink directory.

Would you just block it or handle this differently?

    What's new on Adsly

Three updates shipped this week, all focused on making the platform more useful for both creators and brands.

Favorites - You can now save listings and come back to them later from your dashboard. Useful when you're browsing multiple options and want to compare before reaching out.

Similar Listings - Every listing page now shows related listings from the same category. Featured listings appear first, giving creators who feature their listing extra visibility. For brands, it makes discovery easier - find one good listing and instantly see more like it.

Weekly Digest - Every Monday, users receive an email with new sponsorship opportunities, their listing performance stats, saved search matches and a featured listings spotlight. No need to check the site manually to stay up to date.

Why these three? Adsly is a marketplace and marketplaces need retention and discovery. Favorites and the digest keep users coming back. Similar listings help creators get found. All three also make featuring a listing more valuable, which is how Adsly monetizes.

First weekly digest goes out this Monday!

Still working on improving listing quality on Adsly. Around 80% of listings had zero sponsorship opportunities, brands would visit and find nothing to act on. So I built a new homepage section that showcases active listings.

The rule is simple - recently approved listings only appear if they have at least one opportunity added. Featured listings are always shown with a highlight. This gives creators a real reason to complete their listings and makes featured credits more valuable, they now include homepage placement on top of search boost and badge.

Curious to see how this affects creator behavior over the next few weeks. After the first day, the number of new opportunities added is 0, ehhh :D

The next step I plan to take is to send occasional email reminders to add opportunities.

Got some really valuable feedback recently, so I've started making changes to Adsly.

First focus: improving listing quality and overall value.

I realized that many creators were adding listings but not clearly showing what they actually offer to sponsors. So I introduced a new empty state that explains why adding sponsorship opportunities matters.

I also added quick start templates (newsletter sponsorship, banner ads, sponsored posts, etc.) to make it much easier to get started.

    The goal is simple:
make listings more actionable > help brands understand the value faster > increase chances of real deals.

I plan to focus as much as possible on the project's value and content quality.

There will be time for revenue later. I don't want to rush things, let the platform grow first.

Tried asking this on X but didn't get much actionable advice, so trying here

    Adsly is growing quite nicely:
    - 204 active brands & creators
    - 144 listings
    - ~630 visits last week

So the traffic and interest are there.

    But… MRR is $0

    I already tried:
    - PRO plan (promo running)
    - featured listings
    - auto-approval

    Still 0 conversions so far.

Now I'm at the point where I need to figure out how to turn traction into actual revenue.

What would you try next in this situation?

Looks like Adsly is starting to get a bit more crowded.

More projects and creators are joining, so visibility is slowly becoming more competitive.

There are currently two simple ways to stand out:

    • Featured listing - gold border + "Featured" badge (top visibility)

    • PRO plan - higher position in search results (above free listings, below Featured)

If you want your project to actually get noticed, this is probably the moment to position it.

    Big update on Adsly 🚀

Just shipped a full inbox messaging system.

Creators and brands can now talk directly on the platform - no need to share personal emails, no back-and-forth over external channels.

    Here's how it works:

    > Brand finds a listing, sends an inquiry with one click

    > Creator gets it in their inbox, replies directly

    > Every conversation has a status - accepted, declined, completed

    > Email notifications are smart - delayed by 5 min, skipped if you already read the message

    Why I built this:

Before, the only option was a contact email on the listing. That meant sharing your email publicly, getting random spam, and having zero visibility into what's actually happening on the platform.

Now everything lives inside Adsly. I can see real conversations happening, deals being made, and measure what actually matters - are creators and brands connecting?

This also means contact email is no longer required on listings. The inbox handles it.

This is the feature that turns Adsly from a directory into a marketplace.

Most creators don't know how much their audience is actually worth.

They either guess… or massively underprice sponsorships.

Adsly isn't just a marketplace for listings - it also has a built-in calculator that helps estimate rates and understand models like CPM, CPC, CPA and flat-rate.
