Blogging platforms keep resurfacing because distribution is harder than publishing, not because writing tools are missing. The real friction has always been getting consistent reach without depending on someone else’s algorithm or email graph.
Most of these “no lock-in” pitches only matter if the platform can also solve discoverability, otherwise it just shifts you from one empty audience surface to another.
Tried this for a bit and the writing experience feels surprisingly clean and distraction-free compared to most newsletter tools.

Writizzy gave me the final push to write my first blog post. The interface is incredibly intuitive, focusing only on the essentials without any clutter. I especially love the font, it perfectly captures that "indie hacker" vibe.
